One Square continues expansion

One Square continues its expansion. Jochen Ihler will join One Square’s Frankfurt office and reinforce its German team as senior advisor.  Jochen Ihler is the most recent addition in its hiring spree after Nadja Schnabel (Frankfurt), Sam Macaulay (Munich), Richard Thomson and Carl-Gustav Beckmann (both London).

Jochen Ihler joins One Square from Commerzbank, where he held a board position responsible for the German medium-sized (Mittelstand) sector. He also led the bank’s centre of competence for the public sector. Before joining Commerzbank, he spent 20 years at Dresdner Bank in a variety of roles including regional chairman of Dresdner’s corporate banking in the economically important south-western region of Germany.

Jochen Ihler will further strengthen One Square’s relationship with the all-important German sector of Mittelstand companies. One Square’s traditionally excellent relationships with the German corporate banks will also benefit as well as One Square’s execution capabilities.

Frank Günther and Wolf Waschkuhn, managing directors of One Square commented "We are delighted that we could win Jochen Ihler with his outstanding reputation in the German corporate world of Mittelstand business to join our team. This underlines One Square’s premier position in the German restructuring universe.”
